LBC Staff Hub – Terms of Use

Who can use the app

The app is for current London Brookes College staff and enrolled students who have a College account. It is not for public use. You may use it only while you are employed by or enrolled at the College.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for activity that takes place under your account.
• Accounts are personal to you. Do not share your login or let anyone else use it.
• Tell us immediately at itsupport@londonbrookescollege.ac.uk if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Using the app responsibly

When you use the app, you agree to:

• provide accurate information, including when you check in and out and when you submit timesheets;
• use the app only for its intended College purposes and in line with College policies;
• not attempt to access data or areas you are not authorised to use, interfere with how the app works, or misuse it in any way.

We may suspend or withdraw access if these terms or College policies are breached.

What the app is (and isn’t)

The app provides administrative tools such as check-in, annual leave, timesheets, and access to policy documents. It supports College processes but does not replace official College records.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the app available and working, but we provide it “as is” and cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, suspend or withdraw features, or carry out maintenance, at any time.

Intellectual property

The app, its content and its design are owned by or licensed to the College. You are given a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for the purposes described in these terms while you are a member of the College. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer the app except as allowed by law.

Your privacy

We handle your personal data as described in the LBC Staff Hub privacy notice. Please read it to understand what we collect and why.

Ending your access

• Your access ends when you leave the College or when your account is closed.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app: More → Delete account. Deletion is permanent, other than records we are legally required to keep. See the delete your account page for full instructions.
• We may suspend or end your access where necessary to protect College systems, comply with the law, or address a breach of these terms.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, the College is not responsible for any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for issues caused by matters outside our reasonable control. This does not affect your statutory rights, or your rights and obligations as a member of the College under your contract of employment or student agreement.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app, or the way we provide it, changes. We will revise the date at the top and, where changes are significant, tell you through the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
